Naturally occuring drugs.

epinephrine... naturally occuring compound from tyrosine (synthetic pun ade gak)

norepinephrine...chemical mediator liberated by mammalian postganglionic symphathetic nerves

dophamine... occurs naturally in basal ganglia (regulation of movement) and andrenal medulla...metabolic precursor of norepihephrine and epinephrine

yohimbine...from Pausinystalia yohimbe. An alkaloid with stimulant. An alpha-2 antagonist. Can be used to treat erectile dysfunction.

atropine...from atropa belladona. Also derives from alkaloid...

cocaine...from the leaves of coca plant. Also from alkaloid group.

strychnine...from the seed of strychnine tree.

digoxin...from foxglove plant, digitalis lanata. useful foe treatment of heart conditions- atrial fibrillation and heart failure.

Many drug that occurs naturally can be found from alkaloid group... Thus, a new question arise :

"What is alkaloid then?"

Alkaloid is a group of naturally occuring chemical compounds which mostly contain basic nitrogen atoms, it includes some natural compounds and weakly basic properties...Several other alkaloid also been discovered such as : xanthine, caffein, nicotine, coniine, colchicine, sparteine... (tahun dijumpai boleh rujuk wikipedia..)

Aqueous Cream

For : Dry skin conditions. Prevent water from evaporates.

Dry skin results from lack of water in the stratum corneum, which is the outer layer of skin cells. When this layer becomes dehydrated it loses its flexibility and becomes cracked, scaly and sometimes itchy. The stratum corneum contains natural water-holding substances that retain water seeping up from the deeper layers of the skin, and water is also normally retained in the stratum corneum by a surface film of natural oil (sebum) and broken-down skin cells, which slow down evaporation of water from the skin surface. Side effect : Mild skin reaction
Indications : Eczema and dermatitis
Content (may content): Liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, water, cetostearyl alcohol, phenoxylethanol
